Our History

A Legacy Forged
Over A Century

More than just a company history, our story is a testament to four generations of family-led innovation and a relentless commitment to Australian manufacturing. It’s a journey that has shaped not only our company, but the industries we serve.

From A Blacksmith’s Forge To A National Leader

Our engineering legacy began in 1907 when our founder, Tom Eilbeck—one of the first graduates of the University of Western Australia-established a humble blacksmith operation on the banks of the Swan River. This foundation of hands-on skill, hard work, and determination inspired his great grandson, Charlie, to launch Eilbeck Heavy Engineering. Today, it is the group’s fastest-growing division.
